President’s Scholarship at AUS
We are happy to share exciting news from American University of Sharjah (AUS) in the United Arab Emirates. As part of our ongoing commitment to attract exceptional applicants from around the world, AUS has launched the President’s Scholarship for international students. The scholarship aims to attract and retain academically qualified and talented students to join our academic community. AUS offer 32 majors and 46 minors at the undergraduate level through its College of Architecture, Art and Design, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, and School of Business Administration.
The President’s Scholarship reflects the commitment to excellence of our university president, Her Excellency Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, who leads several Sharjah, UAE, regional and global institutions and initiatives to foster socio-economic development, support cultural industries and heritage, and catalyze multi-stakeholder partnerships for sustainable development. The scholarships will be granted to up to 20 applicants every year and are open to those who completed their secondary education outside the UAE.

This scholarship is offered to qualifying students in their final year of secondary education who plan to begin their studies at AUS in the fall semester. The selection process is based primarily on academic excellence and other criteria that highlight students’ achievements.
