Third Civil Engineering Mini Boot Camp

About the Boot Camp
Open to high school students in years 10–12
Discover the field of civil engineering at this camp offered by the UAE's top-ranked civil engineering program.
At this informative and engaging camp, students will:
- attend a welcoming session
- watch a short video presentation about civil engineering
Students will be working on:
- Computer Aided Drafting
- GPS and 3D Laser Scanning
- Geographic Information Systems + 3D Models from Drones/Microdrones
Students will learn about and have hands-on practice with:
- experiments in the Geotechnical Engineering Lab
- Open Channel Flow
- demonstrations and hands-on experiments in the Construction Materials and Structure Lab
Students will also compete to build a small civil engineering structure. The camp will end with a closing ceremony.
Seats are limited.
Cost: Free of charge, but students will be selected according to their statement of interest and according to the availability of seats.
