A Commitment to Sustainability

AUS takes sustainability seriously, and, according to the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System (STARS), is the most sustainable university in the GCC. The Engineering and Sciences Building, opened in 2019,  was awarded the highly sought-after 2 Pearl rating by Estidama, a sustainable development initiative of the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council. The building will provide you with a beautiful and sustainable place to study.

Built-in Flexibility for Busy Professionals

CEN's graduate programs are flexible, ensuring that students are able to pursue their busy careers alongside their graduate degree. Students can choose between a full-time schedule and a part-time schedule, with classes offered at times suitable for those in the workforce. Classes and workshops are designed to give students maximum opportunity for hands-on learning that they can directly apply to their day-to-day work.

CEN students enjoy access to state-of-the-art laboratories, lecture rooms and breakout spaces, all designed to facilitate learning and world-class research. Our 50 labs are equipped with the latest technologies spread over the CEN three buildings, designed for maximum engagement and hands-on learning.

AUS offers a series of competitive graduate students assistantships and work-study opportunities, including graduate research and teaching assistantships.
