Navigating the Future: Mastering Uncertainty Through Disruptive Technology
American University of Sharjah| November 4-6, 2024
Overview
The Sixth IEEE International Conference on Technology Management, Operations and Decisions (IEEE ICTMOD 2024) will be hosted by American University of Sharjah (AUS) in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, from November 4 to 6, 2024. It will be organized by the AUS Department of Industrial Engineering in collaboration with Competitive Intelligence and Enterprise Management Systems (CIEMS) and the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS). The premier international conference on technology and management, IEEE ICTMOD will combine strategic keynote presentations and panels, technical and policy papers, case studies, workshops, tutorials, a poster exhibition and social networking activities.
Held under the theme, Navigating the Future: Mastering Uncertainty Through Disruptive Technology, this edition of IEEE ICTMOD seeks to examine innovation and strategic transformation in navigating decisions in management and operations that are driving the industries, government and society. It will showcase innovative smart services, digital products and platforms, and discuss current issues, challenges and practices and look into future prospects.
IEEE ICTMOD will provide an excellent opportunity for presenting new results and discussing the latest research and developments in the field. Participation of young scientists is strongly encouraged. Participation of scientists from academia and industry is particularly welcome. The program will include considerable space for promoting new technical applications and developments, real-world challenges and success stories.
IEEE ICTMOD seeks high-quality papers for presentation at this premier international event. Submissions should contribute to substantial, original and previously unpublished research in the topics of the conference. This includes, but is not limited to:
- theoretical research papers that provide new concepts in the domain of engineering, technology, innovation, business transformation and its social impacts
- empirical studies and qualitative case studies that develop new insights
- system design and development papers that go beyond the pure description of systems and give insight into theory and effectiveness of the approach
- verification and validation papers that evaluate the application of solutions
Publication
All accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore Digital Library as well as other abstracting and indexing (A&I) databases (Scopus, Web of Science, ProQuest, IET, NLM, CrossRef).
Following the conference, authors of selected high-quality papers will be advised to submit, after substantial revision and improvement according to journals’ requirements and guidelines, their papers for special issues and regular issues of high-impact international academic journals, where they will undergo the traditional double-blind peer review process.
