AUS Silver Jubilee Campus Tour

The AUS campus mosque was gifted to the university community.

Bin Laden Construction—the original contractors for the construction of the AUS campus—made this important addition to campus in 1998.

This mosque serves the broader AUS Muslim community, including students, staff, faculty and their families. While AUS boasts one of the most culturally diverse campus communities in the world (Times Higher Education, 2022), this building is a constant reminder of the Islamic heritage of Sharjah. 

The building is visible from many vantage points across campus and is particularly beautiful when illuminated at night.
