Dr. Susan Mumm: AUS' first female Chancellor
The current AUS Chancellor is Dr. Susan Mumm—the first female to hold this position in the history of our university.
Upon her appointment in 2021, Dr. Mumm thankedHis Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed AlQasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, for the trust and confidence placed in her, and stated her commitment to contributing to achieving the vision that His Highness had established for AUS.

As Chancellor, Dr. Mumm's priorities include advancing the mission of AUS, continuing to enhance the student experience and fostering the university’s research agenda.
